[The Truth! Does MONETA Reject You If You Withdraw Too Often? I Asked the People in Charge — Again]
Does MONETA refuse payouts if you withdraw again and again? I asked MONETA's head of risk and product directly about payout limits, an 8-payout example, and the low Trustpilot reviews.
Hiii everyone, hello again! It's Natsuki.
Lately I've been seeing more and more traders in Japan keeping an eye on MONETA Funded.
But I can also feel a bit of a "looks interesting, but let's wait and see" mood.
And the thing people worry about most is, of course, payouts.
No matter how attractive a plan is, what really matters is: "If I follow the rules and make a profit, will I actually get paid?"
That one question is enough to freeze your finger right over the buy button. It even trembles. Shaking like a pop ballad.
So this time I went straight to MONETA's head of risk and product and asked about payout frequency and the negative reviews.
In this article I'll keep what the team confirmed separate from what can't be confirmed yet.

Is there a limit on how many times you can withdraw?
First, the team's answer was clear.
"There is no limit on the number of payouts, and we never reject a payout without a reason."
What I wanted to know was whether withdrawing many times could, by itself, become a reason for a payout to be refused.
The answer: they do not refuse payouts simply because someone has withdrawn many times.
That said, this doesn't mean "you can always withdraw no matter how you trade." Following the applicable rules and meeting the payout conditions and review are prerequisites. Limits on payout frequency and payout decisions based on rule violations are two separate things.
They also shared an example of 8 payouts
Beyond the explanation, the team shared CRM (customer management system) records of clients who have withdrawn five or more times.
One example they showed was a trader in Egypt with 8 payouts.
Seeing multiple-payout cases is useful when you're wondering "what happens as the number of payouts grows?" But let me be precise here. What I checked were records presented by the team. I didn't interview the trader or independently verify each transfer into a bank or wallet.
Please take it as a track record presented by the company, one piece of information for your own judgement.
What about the low Trustpilot reviews?
This time the team also explained the background behind the low Trustpilot ratings. According to them, after restricting services to Iran because of US sanctions and stopping new account purchases there, they received critical reviews from unhappy Iranian traders. So that's the real story. Meanwhile, for existing customers, they said:
- existing trading accounts are maintained
- payout requests are still accepted
In other words, in the team's explanation, stopping new account purchases and accepting payout requests from existing accounts are handled separately.
Note that "accepting requests" isn't the same as "every request being approved and paid."
Also, this is the background as explained by the company. I haven't independently verified how the sanctions apply or whether individual reviews are accurate, and I'm not claiming every low rating comes from this.

Ratings change over time. Rather than just the score, read the specific complaints, the dates, and how the company replied — it makes judging much easier. For me, this concrete answer is one more reason to trust them.
Trader interviews are on the way
The team also told me they plan to publish interviews with real traders talking about their experience soon.
At the time of their answer, the first video was scheduled for as early as the following week. The timing may change.
More stories from actual users should give traders in Japan more to go on.
Of course, an interview is just one case. A good experience doesn't guarantee the same result for everyone.
Still, more chances to hear real experiences is something I welcome.
What I want to keep telling you, as Natsuki
I help MONETA expand in Japan — which is exactly why I don't want to leave questions vague and just say "it's fine!" I don't want to be one of those affiliate hacks who recommend things while the facts are unclear or while knowing they're bad! Get outta here!
Share the good parts. Check the worrying parts. Say clearly when something hasn't been confirmed.
I believe that's how you build the kind of trust that lasts.
From this answer, I could confirm the company's policy: no cap on the number of payouts, and no payout refused without a reason.
The CEO also explained that when a decision is made because of misconduct, they show the person concerned the evidence of that misconduct.
MONETA FUNDED CEO, Isaac: "We always show them the evidence of misconduct. So please don't worry."
He also stated clearly that "the kind of unreasonable bans that various firms have handed out in Japan in the past will never happen here, and shouldn't." He's someone with very solid principles, so I wanted to share that here.
Multiple-payout cases were shared too, so I hope this helps those of you still watching from the sidelines.
Trust is built one step at a time!! Being a phoenix doesn't mean everything has to blaze up overnight!! Though plenty of my accounts have turned to ash.
I'll keep checking the things you're curious about and sharing them in articles and posts!
