[MONETA PHOENIX] "While Unraveling the Phoenix Plan Everyone's Curious About, I Nearly Burned to Ash on the Complicated Rules — But I Managed to Sum Up the Official Answers, So Can You Please Praise Me?"
How do Phoenix scaling and payouts fit together? Profit above 10%, how credits are paid, what happens on a breach, and the levels up to $2M — explained from direct answers by the MONETA team.
Hiii everyone, hello again! As always, I'm here to push Phoenix. It's Natsuki. This time I gave the title a light-novel twist, in order to save the world.
"LOL, Phoenix again? That's hilarious lol"
The gyaru in my heart is already making noise. Yes. Well, it's my favorite, OK!? Being loud is the whole point, OK!? The guest appearances in my articles are a bit lopsided, but I'm the one choosing the topics, so it can't be helped. I'll bring cushions — please sit nicely.
But… well… hmm…
Lately more traders in Japan have been asking me about Phoenix. "The explanation of the complicated rules is complicated." That's the thing. I can't live in a field of flowers forever.
No evaluation. Static DD. News trading allowed. Account doubles at 10% profit. And if you keep growing it, a $2 million account at the top.
Two million. Dollars.
I just felt like adding a pause. "Two million" with "dollars" attached is downright ferocious. Night views, champagne, "here's looking at you"… not my generation.
But here's one thing. A basic question came up.
"OK, I get that you scale when you make 10%. So when do I actually get that 10%?"
Yes. That. Exactly that. I want a bigger account. But I also want money. I don't want to commute, but I'd like to withdraw five days a week. But… I also want to grow the account. No need to pretend you only want one of them. I want everything in this world.
So this time, based on questions I put directly to the MONETA team, let's dig into Phoenix scaling and payouts.
If I'm going to push it, I can't just list the good bits and stop. "It's amazing here!" "It's a bargain!" "It's better than the rest!" Natsuki isn't cheap enough to recommend something with sales lines like that… Well, if you adopt a bird because you fell for its looks and then "don't know how to look after it," that's a problem.
So in short: the era is shifting to MONETA. Thank you kindly.
Note: I share information under the cool title of MONETA JAPAN Business Developer. This article is based on official materials and answers from the team as of October 12, 2026. Account funds are simulated, and you can't receive the account size itself.
For the busy ones today, I've prepared thiiiiis! Thank youuuu!

Just this first. Think of scaling and payouts separately!
First, here are the key points I found out.
- Scaling is automatic. But besides 10% profit, you need 3 profitable days and all positions closed.
- If you meet the normal payout conditions and withdraw before hitting 10%, you can keep the same account size.
- Profit at scale-up is carried over to the next account as a credit.
- If you go past 10% to 12%, the full 12% is carried over.
- The credit is paid together with your next payout, once you meet the payout conditions after scaling.
- If the account is breached before that payout, the credit is lost too.
The last one. Let's make it bold.
If the account is breached, the carried-over profit credit is lost too.
Eeeeeek. Well, of course. It's important, so I put it first. I'd hate for you to stop reading once I start some weird analogy later.
OK, step by step.
① What's so great about Phoenix anyway?
What I like is this combination.
No evaluation, 6% static max DD, no consistency rule, news trading allowed.
First take an exam, pass, take another exam. Finally, funded.
You skip all that and start on a funded account from day one. A friendly entrance for impatient people. There are still proper conditions before a payout, so please don't skip those.
The basic conditions:
- Evaluation challenge: none
- Daily DD: 3%
- Max DD: 6%, static
- Consistency rule: none
- News trading: allowed
- Profit split: 88%
- Normal payout cycle: 14 days
- Profitable day: 0.5% or more per day
- Scale-up profit condition: 10% at the current level
- Profitable days for scale-up: 3 days
- When scaling or requesting a payout: no open positions
- Scaling cap: $2 million
Static DD means the max loss level, set from the initial account size of that level, doesn't chase you as your profit grows.
On a $20,000 account, 6% is $1,200. The max loss level is $18,800.
Even as the balance grows, that max loss level stays fixed for that level.
If you don't want to worry about trailing moves every time, it's easy to understand. That's why I like it. Love it. Some things you just want to stay calmly where they are. Loss levels, car keys. It's in my pocket and I still can't find it.
However, the daily DD and the floating loss limit are separate. Don't go home remembering only "6% static." You're still at the front door.
② Hit 10% and move to the next account automatically… any other conditions?
Phoenix scales automatically once the conditions are met.
On $5,000, 10% is $500. On $20,000, 10% is $2,000.
Easy so far.
But when I checked with the team, scaling needs these three things:
- Reach 10% profit at the current level.
- Have 3 profitable days of 0.5% or more.
- Close all positions.
"I hit 10% today alone! Give me the next account!"
I get the feeling. But if you only have one profitable day, the conditions aren't met, so no, no, no.
The 3 profitable days aren't just for payouts.
You need them to scale too.
And close all your positions.
Staring at floating profit won't meet the scaling conditions. The same goes for payout requests. When you request, make sure you have no open positions.
③ Surely the profit above 10% doesn't just… disappear?
Oh, but it does… (detective voice)
Just kidding, it doesn't.
Say you're at 9% profit and your last trade takes you to 12%.
"Congratulations. We'll take the 10%. The other 2% has burned to cinders."
If they said that, you'd be marching over with torches, right? Don't worry. It doesn't disappear. I confirmed this with the team.
The full 12% carries over to the next account as a credit!
Of course. We can't have the phoenix torched into yakitori. How sacrilegious. At a normal scaling level, 10% is the trigger for scaling. It's not a cap that cuts off profit above 10%.
12% on a $5,000 account is $600. The whole $600 is carried over.
④ So what exactly is this "credit"?
No need to get your card out. I'm a debt boy who can only use a debit card. Dang it.
The credit here means profit made at the previous level, carried over to the next level as notional profit.
And it's tracked completely separately from the new account and doesn't affect the new account's balance.
For example, say you make $500 on a $5,000 account and also meet the 3 profitable days and all-closed conditions.
Next is a $10,000 account. The $500 you made on the previous account carries over as a "profit credit."
To summarize:
- New level account size: $10,000
- Profit credit from the previous level: $500
- New profit target to scale again: $1,000
The key point: you can't use the previous $500 to clear half of the next $1,000 target.
"My past self worked so hard, so how about just $500 more this time? Pleeease ♡"
Don't go looking for wiggle room. At the next level you need to make a fresh $1,000 profit.
And the $500 you carried over is not money you've received yet. It's counting your chickens.
Profit shown on the dashboard. Money that actually reached your wallet.
Don't leap that gap on feelings alone. I do it all the time. You shouldn't start picking a BBQ restaurant before the money lands. Just look at the menu. Only the premium beef tongue catches my eye anyway. Extra green onions, please.
⑤ You don't withdraw the credit on its own
This part is really important this time.
According to the team, the credit is withdrawn together with your next normal payout.
To do that, the account after scaling must meet these three conditions:
- The 14-day payout cycle.
- 3 profitable days of 0.5% or more.
- A payout amount of $100 or more excluding the credit.
And when you request, close all positions.
So,
"I have a $500 credit. That's over the $100 minimum, so I'll withdraw."
That alone doesn't meet the conditions.
The payout amount other than the credit also needs to be $100 or more.
Even with profit from the previous account, you need to meet the normal payout conditions on the next account. The credit is paid together with that payout — that's how it works.
If you think "scale up and I get the previous profit first," you'll have the wrong picture.
(Example) Starting from a $5,000 account
First, meet $500 profit, 3 profitable days and all positions closed on the $5,000 account.
Then you scale to a $10,000 account. The $500 carries over as a credit.
After that, meet the payout conditions again on the scaled account.
Then receive the credit together with the payout of your new trading profit.
That's the order.
The team's original wording is "min $100 of non-credit payout." In this article I've put it as "a payout amount of $100 or more excluding the credit."
The profit split is 88%, so don't read it as "make $100 of profit before the split and you're always fine." Check the request amount and what you actually receive on the dashboard.
Don't assume the displayed credit is what lands in your pocket either…!
That's a lot of numbers. Natsuki has suddenly gone quiet. It's complicated, so butterflies are fluttering around a field of flowers.
⑥ If I blow the account after scaling, what happens to the previous profit?
I asked this too.
The team's answer:
If the account is breached, the credit is lost too.
That's it.
In the earlier example, if you move to the $10,000 account and get breached before withdrawing the carried-over $500, you don't receive that $500 either.
"Hold on, that $500 is what I earned on the previous account?"
It is. You earned it. But it isn't money set aside somewhere else.
So right after scaling,
"The account doubled, my excitement doubled, so let's double my usual risk too!"
Let's calm down there. Just double the excitement. Keep the celebrating to your chair.
The new account carries both the challenge of the next level and profit you haven't received yet.
Scaling up and actually collecting your profit are two different things.
This is something I want to say clearly, even as someone who loves this plan.
⑦ Can I keep withdrawing on the same account without scaling?
Yes. I checked this with the team too.
If you meet the normal payout conditions and withdraw before your profit reaches 10%, you can continue at the same account size.
Scaling itself is automatic. It's not that there's a "don't scale" button.
Withdraw before you reach 10%. If you withdraw all your profit and the account P/L goes back to 0, you stay at the same level. That's how it works.
Also, profit you've already withdrawn doesn't count toward the scaling target.
For example, you make 5% and withdraw it all. Then you make another 5%.
"That's 10% in total, so please scale me up!"
Nope. You can't carry the 5% you already withdrew toward the next target.
It's not a stamp card that adds up past profit. Pulling receipts out of your wallet won't help.
How would Natsuki use it?
First, I want to recover the cost of the account. I'll defend that to the death.
Meet the payout conditions and take profit before reaching 10%. Then move on to growing the account.
I want to see the $2 million view. I really want to see it. So badly.
But if I end up chasing the dream and never receive any profit at all, I'll probably be staring at a white ceiling for a while. And then I'll realize it's a ceiling I don't recognize.
Collect first? Aim to scale this time? Or go take over the world?
Being able to decide that yourself is what makes Phoenix interesting, I think. But payouts have conditions like the 14-day cycle, so don't think "I can withdraw freely any time just before 10%."
⑧ So how many times to $2 million?
Right. After all that real-money talk, let's look at big numbers again. Let's dream. Dream big, boss! What a busy article.
The official scaling levels:
Level 1: $2,500 Level 2: $5,000 Level 3: $10,000 Level 4: $20,000 Level 5: $40,000 Level 6: $80,000 Level 7: $160,000 Level 8: $320,000 Level 9: $640,000 Level 10: $1,280,000 Level 11: $2,000,000
From $20,000, 7 times. From $5,000, 9 times.
It basically doubles, and the last step goes from $1.28 million to $2 million. Only the last one doesn't become $2.56 million. Don't inflate it on momentum. I don't have that authority. Hey, stop looking at me like that.
"7 times" makes it sound kind of close, right?
But each time it's 10% profit. Profitable days needed too. Loss limits to respect.
It doesn't go at the speed of counting to seven on your fingers. One level at a time.
For example, at the $20,000 level that's $2,000. At $40,000, $4,000. At $80,000, $8,000.
As the account grows, the profit needed for the next scale-up gets bigger too.
Also, details such as profit caps or payout caps after reaching $2 million weren't confirmed in this answer.
I'm deliberately not saying things like "at the top level you can withdraw without limit."
I'm curious about what happens up there too. Let's keep it as a privilege for whoever gets there. It's not that asking is a hassle. Totally not. Nothing to do with it. HAHA!
⑨ 6% static DD. But that doesn't mean 6% floating loss is OK
Back to the rules once more.
Phoenix max DD is 6% static. Daily DD is 3%.
And the Max Floating Loss in the official guidebook is 2%.
At 2% you get a warning, then a 1.5% floating loss limit applies. Breaking the 1.5% limit after that is a breach.
So there's more than one number to watch.
- Max DD: 6% static
- Daily DD: 3%
- Floating loss limit: warning at 2%, then a 1.5% limit; breaking it after that is a breach
"Max is 6%, so I can probably hold about 5% floating loss."
There's a daily DD in the first place. Beginners, watch out. The only thing holding on might be your noble spirit. The account has other limits.
The convenience of static DD doesn't mean you can drag floating losses as far as you like. Plan your stop distance and lot size with the floating loss limit in mind.
Watch the morning snapshot for daily DD
According to the guidebook, the daily reset is at 22:00 UTC. The reset is at the same instant worldwide: London 22:00 GMT / 23:00 BST; New York 17:00 EST / 18:00 EDT. Your local time depends on your time zone and daylight saving.
At that moment, the system compares balance and equity, takes the higher one, and subtracts the daily loss amount to set the loss level.
If you carry a large floating profit across the reset, that floating profit shrinking can bring you closer to the daily limit.
"But I'm still in profit!"
Even then, depending on the daily base, it can become a problem. It's not only realized losses you need to watch.
Even with static max DD, the daily DD is calculated separately. Don't treat these two as the same person. They just have similar names.
Also, after scaling, the account size changes. It doesn't mean the $20,000-level max loss line of $18,800 carries straight over to the $40,000 level.
⑩ 3 profitable days. Just showing up isn't enough
A profitable day is 0.5% or more per day.
At the $10,000 level, that's $50. At $20,000, $100.
"I'll just trade 0.01 lots a bit and make it three days."
That increases the number of days you traded, but what you need is profitable days. Attendance and earning credits are different things.
The guidebook also gives this formula for the daily profit check:
The lower of balance and equity at the day change − the previous day's balance
So even if you've closed 0.5% worth, floating losses on positions you keep can affect the check.
No consistency rule. But there is a profitable-days condition.
Remember that combination. When you see the word "none," everything around it can start to look free, but read each rule on its own.
That said, Natsuki is lobbying! "Heyyy, got any better ideas, bro!" The team is thinking about the 0.5% × 3 days condition. They're really listening. I'm working on getting it changed to a different rule. I know everyone finds this part tough. I'm well aware.
⑪ News trading allowed too. That's why I push it
Phoenix allows news trading.
Static DD. No consistency rule. News trading allowed.
I just love this combination. I've written out the payout conditions in detail, but what I like about this plan hasn't changed.
Isn't it super stressful to trade while watching the clock for economic releases?
I feel that way much more than before.
But being able to trade during the news and being allowed to lose as much as you like on the news are different things. The daily DD and the floating loss limit don't take a bathroom break during that time. They're right there. Right there. I'm the one who's always in the bathroom. What does that even mean?
For traders who can use that freedom within their own risk management, I think it's a really interesting plan.
Finally. Natsuki wants to grow it — but also wants to get paid. And before I knew it, I was in another world.
Let's wrap up light-novel style, like this article! While writing, I suddenly found myself at my grandma's house.
💓 Phoenix is a plan that makes growing your account fun 💓
Trade from the start with no evaluation. Manage it with static DD. Each time you meet the conditions, the next account size comes into view.
On the other hand, profit before scaling is carried over as a credit and can't be received until you meet the next payout conditions. If the account is breached in the meantime, the credit is lost too.
That's why I want to grow it while watching not only the account size, but how much I've actually received.
Withdraw this time. Aim to scale next time. Enjoy it over the long run.
It doesn't have to be the same answer every time… I want to first recover the purchase cost, and then go for a bigger account. Building an effectively risk-free position first gives you a completely different peace of mind.
So, won't you come see the $2 million view with Natsuki?
See you! Full belly, full of dreams — let's meet again beyond the odds.
Everyone! Count your profitable days, check your positions, and follow it all the way through to getting paid. Before you raise a phoenix, don't turn your own account to ash lol
That was Natsuki. Thank you, thank you.
