Hiii everyone, hello again! It's Natsuki. The man of endless summer. Sounds noisy, doesn't it? Don't worry, I'm explaining in a whisper.

So, it's time to read my humble note. Let's get right to it. A name you've been hearing more and more in the Japanese prop scene lately:

"MONETA FUNDED"

This time, Natsuki — officially recognized by the MONETA team — personally brings you an updated roundup of the plans currently on offer.

By the way, I last wrote this article in September 2026. Just one month later.

More plans. Changed rules.

So fast. Don't you dare say updating it is a pain.

I used to write "All 6 plans!", but now 1-Step Daily has been added, and the original 1-Step is back on the official site.

The result:

There are 7.

More of them. That's a lot. It IS a lot. It's a lot, right? A lot of information for Natsuki, too. Reading rules is a pain. I once wanted to be a novelist, you know. These days I'm a dopamine uncle who only takes in video, so I can't read huge walls of text. Writing them is fine, though. Funny, that.

So I did my best to sum it all up.

"What's the difference between 1-Step and 1-Step Daily?" "There are two kinds of Instant now???" "When does Phoenix become an immortal bird?" "Why has Sprint alone suddenly started a death game?"

Yes. I get it. I didn't get it either.

But once you look properly, each one has a very different personality.

In this article, based on the official site, the official Help Center and what I confirmed with the MONETA team, I'll translate it all into human language as best I can.

Note: this article reflects information as of October 7, 2026. MONETA has been updating its rules a lot lately, so always do a final check of the official site, Help Center and checkout conditions when you buy.

For busy modern people. The conclusion first.

MONETA's Instant is the strongest!

MONETA's Instant is the strongest!

Repeat after me?

Right. The Phoenix plan is my recommendation.

What is MONETA Funded, anyway?

MONETA Funded is a so-called prop trading service.

It's backed by Moneta Markets and offers MT5 and MatchTrader.

Strictly speaking, MONETA Funded isn't a securities firm that holds your money and lets you trade it. It evaluates traders in a simulated trading environment and pays rewards based on its rules.

The official site also promotes being broker-backed by Moneta Markets. (Moneta Funded)

With prop firms, the most important thing is:

Read the rules before the profit target.

Even with 10% profit, step on a DD rule and it's

\ GAME OVER /

That's that.

"But I was winning!"

doesn't fly. Neither the market nor the prop firm cares about your feelings.

OK, let's look at the latest 7 plans.

① 1-Step Daily | Pass at 3%. Then withdraw every day.

Just from the name, you'd think

"Isn't it just 1-Step, but daily?"

Right? Wrong. It's quite a different beast.

The profit target is just 3%. Daily loss limit: 1%. Max loss: 2% Static. No minimum trading days. No Consistency Rule. Profit split after funding: 88%.

And its biggest feature: You can request a payout every day.

None of the usual "You're funded! Now wait 14 days!"

On 50K, 3% = $1,500. On 100K, 3% = $3,000.

Looking at just that, "Huh, that's easy." you'd think, right? Hold on.

Look at the DD.

On 50K, the daily DD is $500. Max DD is $1,000.

Narrow. Thin. A primary-school balance beam. One gust of wind and you're off the cliff. That's a tightrope.

Officially it's "3% Target / 1% Daily Loss / 2% Max Loss" — a pretty unusual design. There's no minimum number of profitable days either. (Moneta Funded)

And the most important thing about this plan:

⚠️ Maximum Loss Lock after a payout

Normally the 2% max loss is Static. On 50K, the breach level is $49,000. Even if profit grows to $52,000, it stays at $49,000. So far, so kind.

However,

once a payout is approved, the max loss level locks at the initial balance.

On a 50K account: grow it to $52,000 ↓ withdraw $1,000 ↓ balance $51,000 ↓ Maximum Loss level fixed at $50,000 ↓ remaining buffer: $1,000

So,

"Profit! I'm taking it all out!!!"

MONETA: "You'll be breached right away, you sure?"

That's what happens. Having room for your next trade becomes crucial.

You can withdraw every day.

But that

doesn't mean withdrawing as much as you like every day is safe.

If you want to keep growing the account, you need to keep building a buffer on top of what you withdraw. The official Help Center also clearly says to leave a sufficient buffer above the initial balance after a payout. (Moneta Funded Help Center)

Maximum payout request: 50K: $1,000 100K: $2,000 Profit split 88%. News trading is restricted, following the standard 1-Step rules. (Moneta Funded Help Center) Personally,

Cheap, pass at 3%, withdraw daily

— I find that really interesting.

But

1% daily / 2% max

is very strict compared with a typical 1-Step's "3% daily / around 6% max."

So rather than "the normal 1-Step got super cheap," think of it as a high-precision, short-distance 1-Step.

Might be good for those who run 50 meters in six-something seconds.

② 1-Step | For you who wants to pass fairly quickly

The original 1-Step disappeared from new sales for a while, but it's now back in the lineup on MONETA's official site.

Profit target 10%. Daily DD 3%. Minimum profitable days: 3 days of 0.5% or more. Profit split 88%. Payouts every 14 days.

It shows

Max DD 5% / Trailing Lock

on the site. (Moneta Funded)

There's also a 1% floating loss limit! And going over it is an immediate breach. Harsh.

This plan… I don't recommend it! I'll request they change it. Because Natsuki wants a comfy 1-Step.

③ 2-Step | The classic. For the "honestly, this is all you need" crowd

This one is a two-phase evaluation.

Phase 1: 5% Phase 2: 10%

Clear those and you're funded. MONETA doesn't do the usual "Phase 1, 8%! Break through this first!" Instead,

5% first. Then 10%.

Personally, this is better for my mental health. If you're told Phase 1 needs 8% and you blow up at 7.8%, dinner has no taste that night.

Depending on what you buy, the DD setting is

4% daily / 8% max Static or 5% daily / 10% max Static

— your choice. Minimum profitable days: 3 days of 0.5%+ per phase. No consistency rule. Profit split 88%. Payouts every 14 days once funded. Max leverage 1:100. (Moneta Funded)

In exchange for two evaluations,

it's the easiest of MONETA's standard plans to give yourself DD room.

"I want to survive a few losses in a row." "I want to risk around 0.5%–1% per trade." For that type, it's the classic choice after all. Not flashy. But strong. Plain white rice.

④ Instant Funding | Exams? Never heard of 'em

From here on, the no-evaluation group. Buy it and you start in the funded environment.

No profit target. Daily DD 3%. Max DD 5% Trailing Lock.

And its biggest feature — and biggest hassle — is

Consistency Rule 15% / 20%.

Instant Funding is for traders who spread their profit out somewhat, rather than "One big BOOM!!"

Profit split 60% / 88% depending on the setting. Payouts every 14 days. In exchange for skipping the evaluation, it's a plan that looks at "how you make your profit." (Moneta Funded)

And the floating loss limit is 1%.

On top of that, trailing DD and Consistency (the consistency rule) come chasing after you. Scary. What if grandma and grandpa came chasing you at top speed? Don't look back.

⑤ Instant Pro | Being able to trade the news is nice

Personally, at a glance, judging by the rules alone, it looks great: Instant Pro.

No evaluation. No profit target. Daily DD 4%. Max DD 8% Trailing Lock. No Consistency Rule. Profit split 88%.

And news trading is allowed.

MONETA's official site sells it as "Maximum freedom from day one." (Moneta Funded)

Compared with regular Instant Funding: Daily Loss 3% → 4% Max Loss 5% → 8% Consistency → none News restriction → news trading allowed

So if you ignore price and compare rules only, it's very flexible.

However, the max loss level now locks at the initial balance once a payout is approved.

That rule was added. It changed… oh… SHOCK

And as its own special rule, max daily profit 4%. exists.

Hit 4% and you're done for the day.

"The gods have descended today!!! I'm going for 10%!!!"

MONETA: "4%, please head home."

Yes. Let's go home. Head home feeling like you're watching the back of the person you like disappear past the ticket gate.

The first payout is On Demand once the conditions are met, then every 14 days. (Moneta Funded)

⑥ Phoenix Instant | Still my number one recommendation!!!

With the Instant Pro rule change, it has climbed even higher to the top spot. It's in a league of its own now. In other words, it's Natsuki's fave. A genius idol!! FOOOOO!! Natsuki wants to be someone's fave too.

So, this plan has

No evaluation. Daily DD 3%. Max DD 6% Static. No Consistency Rule. Profit split 88%.

And it's a plan where you grow your account step by step by stacking profit and meeting the 10% scaling condition.

The final destination: $2,000,000. Two million.

A huge dream awaits!!! Not everything in this world, but it's packed with plenty. Two million, huh… Let's not convert it into yen. I'd start shaking and couldn't write this note.

MONETA officially scales it up to Level 11, for a maximum of $2M. (Moneta Funded)

And an important change from the old article:

Phoenix now allows news trading.

It used to have restrictions around high-impact news, but the current Phoenix page shows

News Trading Allowed Hold overnight / over-weekend allowed on the official page. (Moneta Funded)

That's huge.

Plus Static DD. No Consistency. News OK. Weekend holding OK. Scaling every 10%.

Phoenix is starting to look like its final form. This plan might be immortal. Even if the accounts die.

By the way,

"Hit 10% = withdraw the full 10% and scale up as is"

is not how it works. That 10% is secured as a credit and becomes withdrawable after two weeks.

Very Phoenix. I want to see the final $2 million, so I'll grow it slowly. I think I'll recover the account cost first, then choose to scale!

But you want to chase the dream, right? If you turn to ash along the way, not my problem.

⑦ Sprint | You alone are still playing a different sport.

Last up, Sprint. No matter how many times I look, this one is different. As different as going to ride a bike and finding the saddle is broccoli. But someone from Japan has actually been paid out on it. Amazing.

Profit target 0.6%–3% depending on the setting. Max loss 0.3%–1.5% Static. Time limits: 1 hour 2 hours 4 hours 8 hours More than a profit split, the payout on success is 100%. Reach the target and you can request a payout immediately. (Moneta Funded)

In other words, a normal prop firm: "Follow the rules over weeks or months."

Sprint: "The clock is ticking."

That's it. No news trading. No gap trading. No trading around market open and close. (Moneta Funded)

It's not "I'll probably hit the target sometime this week ☕️" while sipping coffee. It's a sprint. Run.

⚠️ 1-Step Daily is not "an easy 1-Step"

This is something I really want to get across in this article. Pass at 3%. Withdraw daily. Cheap, too. Taken on its own, that's super attractive.

But 1% daily / 2% max.

And after funding, once you withdraw, the max loss level locks at the initial balance.

If you want to keep the account after that,

you need to keep leaving a buffer in the account, separate from the profit you withdraw.

In other words: clear the 3% challenge ↓ funded ↓ make profit ↓ don't take it all; secure a buffer ↓ make more profit ↓ withdraw

That's how you run it. So

"Daily Payout = I can take it all out every day!!!"

is a dangerous way to see it.

You can request every day — it doesn't mean you can take out as much as you like every day while keeping the account alive long-term.

If you compare rules only and ignore price, plenty of traders will find Instant Pro or Phoenix easier.

On the other hand, for those who can stack gains precisely with small risk, 1-Step Daily's low 3% target and daily payouts will hit the spot. Completely different personalities.

⚠️ News trading differs by plan

In the October 2026 update, this has changed a lot too.

In particular, Instant Pro: news trading allowed Phoenix: news trading allowed That's it. (Moneta Funded)

Meanwhile, the Help Center clearly states that the standard news trading restriction applies to 1-Step Daily. (Moneta Funded Help Center)

For 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Funding and the rest, always check the rules around high-impact news.

Before a release, "It'll probably be fine" is the most dangerous phrase. Use "probably" with prop rules and you'll usually die.

⚠️ EAs are allowed. But not anything goes.

I get asked about this a lot lately. At MONETA,

EAs and automated trading systems you developed yourself are allowed.

On the other hand, EAs you didn't develop yourself, third-party EAs, setups that copy external signals as is, and copying other people's trades are prohibited.

The terms also prohibit using "automated trading software / EA / API integration" you didn't develop yourself. (Moneta Funded)

And just because it's an EA, HFT Tick Scalping Latency Arbitrage Grid Trading hedging across accounts

and so on aren't suddenly allowed. Automatic or manual, prohibited methods are prohibited. "The EA did it on its own." won't fly either. You'll just get a "You're the one who made the EA" and a drill in the face.

⚠️ About averaging down and martingale

This is something I confirmed with MONETA's risk department earlier.

Martingale is prohibited on all plans.

Increasing your lot every time losses grow, aiming for "One shot to win it all back!" is a no.

On the other hand, averaging down and scaling in are not banned across the board.

Additional entries made as small, normal position management, with overall risk under control, may be accepted.

However, once it turns into floating loss grows ↓ add more ↓ increase the lot ↓ add again

you may be judged as "Isn't that just martingale under a different name?" Saying "averaging down" isn't a magic spell that makes it safe. Aim for disciplined, consistent trading. If you don't, your account dies anyway lol

⚠️ When DD resets

MONETA's daily DD updates at 22:00 UTC.

The reset is at the same instant worldwide: London 22:00 GMT / 23:00 BST; New York 17:00 EST / 18:00 EDT. Your local time depends on your time zone and daylight saving.

At that moment, it takes Balance or Equity

— whichever is higher — as the base, and subtracts the plan's daily loss amount to calculate the new Daily Loss level. Floating P/L, commissions and swaps also affect the DD check. (Moneta Funded)

Especially if you carry floating profit across the reset:

the next morning you may go "My DD level is higher than yesterday???" Sorry, that's how it works.

⚠️ Watch out for 30 days without trading

Standard accounts fall under the Inactivity Rule if there's no trading for 30 days. (Moneta Funded)

"Bought it because it was on sale!" ↓ "Busy now, I'll do it next month" ↓ forget ↓ account: "Well then, see ya……"

Let's not let that happen. People who forget they even bought something tend to pile up Amazon boxes and prop accounts.

Q. So which one should I choose already!!!

Right. With the latest version, here's how I see it.

Want to grab just 3% with low risk and high precision → 1-Step Daily

Like a normal one-phase evaluation → 1-Step

DD room is justice → 2-Step

Don't want to take an evaluation → Instant Funding

No evaluation, free to trade news, want DD room → Instant Pro

Static DD, no Consistency, news OK, want to grow the account → Phoenix Instant

Today I can settle it in a few hours → Sprint That's it.

Not "Which one is the strongest?" but which rules suit your trading.

That's what matters. Are you a scalper? A day trader? Do you trade the news? What % do you risk per trade? How many losses in a row do you get? Do you make big profits in one shot? Even with the same win rate, if these differ, the best account changes.

Especially with prop firms,

the ability to make a profit and the ability to survive within the rules

are two different things. Pick what suits you, or sooner or later you'll turn to ash.

Which one does Natsuki choose?

Phoenix. Overwhelmingly Phoenix!! No change.

・Static DD 6%. ・No consistency rule. ・News trading allowed.

And at the end, $2,000,000.

So many dreeeeeams!!

Buy 20K, 40K. 80K. Beyond that. In the end, a $2 million account.

"What are the odds of getting that far?"

Don't ask me that. Never ask that. Let's go beyond the odds.

Finally. Allow me a few words.

This article has been heavily updated from the earlier September 2026 version.

In particular: 1-Step Daily was added. The original 1-Step returned with rule changes. Phoenix now allows news trading. Instant Pro. EA rules.

The situation around these has changed a lot from the earlier article. MONETA has been improving its plans quite often lately. Because of that, old articles, old comparison tables, old screenshots may still show old rules.

In fact, even as of October 7, 2026, parts of the official General Rules, Help Center and individual plan pages still show old specifications.

So, as part of MONETA JAPAN, I'll keep in direct contact with the team and share any changes with users in Japan as quickly as I can.

Prop trading is hard if you go in without knowing the rules.

But on the flip side, understand the rules, understand your own trading, pick an account that suits you, and it's a really fun system.

Don't get knocked out before you make a profit. Read the rules before you size up. And keep a healthy distance from DD.

You know the phrase "no sense of personal space."

Talking casually two minutes after meeting. A long life story in the first DM. A sudden lecture on life in a quote tweet.

People usually hate that. DD is the same. Don't get too close. What are we even talking about?

So everyone, full belly, full of dreams! Let's meet again beyond the odds! Thank you, thank you.

Note: this article reflects information as of October 7, 2026. MONETA Funded's rules, plans, prices and campaigns may change. Before buying or trading, always check the official site, the latest FAQ and the conditions at checkout.
